In this interactive discussion, Viannah will cover several types of nonfiction poetry (found poetry, news headlines, song lyrics, nonfiction narrative, and others) and also will consider ways to make your nonfiction prose more poetic by employing creative essay structures and including vivid description and detail. Finally, we’ll go over some poetry-writing techniques, including phrasing and sentence structure, for making your prose more arresting for your readers.
