Panel — Writing & Your Community: A Look at Literary Citizenship

Writing communities are pivotal for so many reasons: moral support, critique, inspiration, motivation and even marketing. In this panel you will hear from a diverse group of people who have built and nurtured writing communities in their local areas or online, from reading series to literary advocacy.

Learn how literary citizenship can help you become a better writer and a better person. Audience members will have a chance to share their own stories and ask our panelists questions.

Panelists:

  • Jim Breslin, West Chester Story Slam and Oermead Press (West Chester, Pa.)
  • Jennifer Hill (Acts of Jennius, Paperkite Press)
  • Monique Antonette Lewis, At the Inkwell (New York, N.Y.)
