Monique teaches fiction workshops for the New York Writers Workshop. She is an annual reader for the James Jones First Novel Fellowship and is the former fiction editor of
City Lit Rag. Her writing has been featured in
Fused Society. With more than a decade of journalism experience in Colorado, Maryland and New York,
Monique is currently an editor for
Mergermarket, an online financial news service based in Manhattan. She received her M.A. and M.F.A. in creative writing from Wilkes University, and a B.A. in technical-journalism from Colorado State University.
